F A T

I've grown fatter!

Riggghhhtttt... i'm sure most of you must be rolling your eyes, cos whenever i ask friends whether i put on weight and if my face is pudgier, they all just dismiss it with a wave of their hand, or violently retort, "Hello?! If you're fat, then what am i???" sheesh... touchy topic eh...

But it's true. I mean, we're talking about relativity here wad... Last time, i was skinnier and lighter. Recently, after traveling to Kota Tinggi & Kuching, I ate quite a bit & have put on about 2.5kg! Perhaps it doesn't show, but i'm so sure i've grown fatter and i shocked myself today when i tried on an old pair of shorts, which used to hang dangerously on my hips, but now it is FITTING. Hah. That just means 2 things. I've got fatter (though i'd like to think i've become fuller at the hips hahaha), and i've got a new pair of shorts now that i can wear... heh.

And my jeans... oh my goodness. I have to suck in my breathe to wriggle into my Levi's and fight to get that damn button into the hole. The problem with having button fly jeans... :( My arms seem bigger too, but maybe that's cos all my muscles have evaporated with all the lack of exercise & all the eating. Gone are the "glory days" when i was tanned & tonned. Abs are somewhat liquified as well... sigh tis depressing...

Well, straight after getting back to Singapore from Kuching yesterday, went for dance practice. Dance really keeps one fit man. I can simply feel the difference... the stretching, toning, conditioning & the pure joy of sweating it all out & of cos... the pain... *ahhh* muahaha... Today, went swimming, in a feeble attempt to follow-up my drive to exercise, but my stamina now is as limp as a... "lau-hong" keropok? Managed to do up 6 laps only. HAHAHA. And during the 5th lap, my lungs felt like exploding already. Spent the majority of the time lazing on the deck chair in the end, and i actually fell asleep... my goodness. Not a very productive or enjoyable swim i must say, as there was this gang of Vietnamese girls in the small pool near the deck chairs yakking and yakking away, making it just so noisy for me to even rest properly. And while i was swimming, i felt like i was swimming in either the South China Sea or the Indian Ocean. To my left, this gang of PRC guys, to my right, the gang of Indian guys. Not that i'm against their nationalities or anything... the Indian guys were fine, but the Chinese, esp this particular idiot was just SO revolting... kept "kor-pui-ing" and spitting into the pool drain. YUCKS. Couldn't stand being in the same pool as him.

Oh well, for now, just looking forward to the next dance practice on Saturday. I think i shall go jog on Friday.
Comments:
