It's all coming back to me now
"Its amazing how arguments, quarrels, even calamity can indeed bring people closer, or build a yet stronger foundation to base the relationship upon, but similarly, they can also wreak disasters if one chooses to cross the boundary. The very thin line of unspoken rule that borders on the basis of trust and respect. To forgive and forget might sound like the run-of-the-mill antidote to remedy any trouble, but in reality, it's never an easy task. And that is something that people these days take for granted too easily. Sometimes, we really need to sit and critically evaluate how we treat and judge those around us, coz you never know, you might end up having a taste of your own sick and disgusting medicine"
I'm so sorry Danfield, but i just had had had to rip this off from your blog. Reason cos i so totally totally totally agreeeeeeeeeeeeee with you on this man. Spot on, you really articulated some of the issues that i have been grappling with in recent times.
Today, after my ultra-demoralizing Urban paper (my 3rd paper out of 5 so far ONLY... *grumble*), went down town for dinner & then met Y to pass her back her water-bag. Haven't seen Y since Dec & in between then and now, so much has happened. Initally thought i'd just pass her the stuff & head home, but in the end we just talked & talked at the bus-stop downstairs her place, until we both got so thirsty. So, we went up to her place in the end. Haha. So dumb, should have done that the moment i met her. Nevertheless, it was great catching up & just having the girl-talk & bitching session. Y is a good friend & she is a person whom i feel has this very "untainted" quality about her. It's always very easy to talk to her & she has been there for me in my darkest times. Y, hope you are reading this, although you said you haven't done so for some time! Anyway, it was good to laugh all the bad stuff out & i realised how much Y has grown. So much wiser & matured in certain aspects & i'm so glad tt Y is doing well & enjoying her working life now.
Ah yes. The power-packed Celine sings her heart out now on my Mp3 player... this song really brings back memories.
